Policies
1. Publication Ethics Statement
Global Open Access Journal of Science (GOAJS) strictly follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards. All stakeholders (authors, reviewers, editors) must uphold ethical practices, including originality, conflict of interest disclosure, and proper authorship. Plagiarism, duplication, and unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Copyright / Open Access Policy
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the work freely with proper citation.
3. Repository Policy
Authors are encouraged to deposit accepted versions in institutional and subject-based repositories. GOAJS complies with SHERPA/RoMEO green archiving policies and fully supports open access archiving initiatives.
4. Privacy Statement
All personal information is confidential and used solely for journal-related purposes. We strictly comply with GDPR and will not share any information without explicit consent.
5. Archival Policy (LOCKSS/CLOCKSS)
GOAJS participates in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS programs to ensure permanent digital preservation and accessibility of published content across multiple secure archives.
6. Announcements and Advertisement Policy
GOAJS welcomes scientific event announcements and ethically approved advertisements. Sponsored content is clearly labeled and does not influence editorial decisions or peer review processes.
7. Corrections, Retractions, and Complaints
We are committed to correcting errors swiftly. Corrections, retractions, and responses to complaints will follow the COPE best practices. Contact us anytime at editor@goajs.com.
8. Authorship and Contributions Policy
All listed authors must meet the ICMJE authorship criteria, and contributions must be transparently declared. Ghostwriting and guest authorship are strictly prohibited.
9. Conflict of Interest Policy
Authors, reviewers, and editors must fully disclose any potential conflicts of interest to ensure objective and fair evaluation of manuscripts.
10. Preprint Policy
GOAJS accepts submissions that have been previously deposited on reputable preprint servers, provided they have not been peer-reviewed or published elsewhere.
11. Data Sharing and Transparency
Authors should make raw data available upon request to support transparency and reproducibility in research. We encourage open datasets when possible.
12. Special Issues Policy
Special Issues focused on emerging topics can be proposed by Guest Editors. All Special Issue submissions will follow the same peer-review standards as regular articles.
