Open Access Policy

The Global Open Access Journal of Science (GOAJS) is committed to promoting universal access to scientific knowledge by adhering to a full open access publishing model. All articles published in GOAJS are freely available online to anyone, anywhere in the world, immediately upon publication.

Key Principles

  • No Access Barriers: Readers can access, read, download, and share all content without subscription or payment.
  • Immediate Availability: Articles are published and made openly accessible without delay.
  • Author Rights: Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to distribute it under a Creative Commons license.
  • Reuse and Redistribution: Users may reuse the content with proper attribution under the applicable Creative Commons license (typically CC BY 4.0).

Licensing

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.

Archiving and Accessibility

GOAJS ensures the long-term digital preservation of all published content through indexing in major open-access repositories and archiving platforms. Articles remain permanently accessible, even if the journal ceases publication.

Author Fees

To support the costs associated with open access publishing, GOAJS may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC). However, efforts are made to keep APCs affordable, and waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis for authors from low-income countries or under financial constraints.

Compliance with Funding Requirements

GOAJS complies with the open access policies of major funding bodies and institutions, supporting authors in meeting grant-related publication mandates.

Through this policy, GOAJS aims to contribute to the democratization of scientific knowledge and accelerate the global dissemination of research.
