Language and English Corrections Policy

The Global Open Access Journal of Science (GOAJS) is committed to ensuring that all published manuscripts meet high standards of language clarity and readability. Submissions must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English to facilitate understanding by a global readership.

Author Responsibility

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscript is written in proper English before submission.
  • Manuscripts with significant grammatical or linguistic errors may be returned to the authors for revision prior to peer review.
  • Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited by a native speaker or a language editing service.

Editorial Language Review

As part of the editorial and review process, minor language issues may be corrected by the editorial staff without altering the intended meaning. If extensive editing is required, the manuscript will be sent back to the authors with suggestions for revision.

Professional Language Editing

GOAJS does not offer in-house language editing services but may recommend third-party English editing services upon request. Use of such services does not guarantee acceptance but can improve the quality of the manuscript.

Post-Acceptance Proofreading

Accepted manuscripts will undergo copyediting for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting as part of the publication process. Authors will be given the opportunity to review the final proofs before publication.

Clarity and Communication

Clear and effective communication is essential for scientific impact. GOAJS encourages authors to prioritize clarity, precision, and logical flow in their writing to ensure that their findings are accessible to a broad scientific audience.
